Parc International

Parc International, an arts-oriented downtown plaza, also serves as a rentable space for events, concerts, and festivals. Vermilion Architects collaborated with the client, Lafayette Consolidated Government, to outline three primary objectives for the park's renovation: addressing neglected maintenance, implementing remedial improvements, and executing a series of renovations and modernizations. The primary space for architectural work is the complete renovation of the bathroom building as well as the backstage greenrooms for entertainers. Vermilion partnered with Associated Design Group (ADG) to assess and update all electrical and mechanical systems, replacing outdated or damaged fixtures. A&E Consultants conducted comprehensive structural evaluations for the mainstage, and McKnight Landscape Architects designed new landscapes and developed a tree maintenance plan to ensure the future health and growth of the park's greenspace.
